Our Services Green Building Services Our Green Building group includes licensed architects, professional engineers and LEED Accredited Professionals whom provide sustainability-consulting services. We are a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and most of our staff is LEED accredited. We have completed, and/or in the process of managing 50 projects totaling 4.5-million SQF through the USGBC LEED accreditation process. A LEED rating certifies that the building was designed, constructed, and functioning to improve environmental, energy and economical performance beyond that of standard design. EME typically starts a project by assisting the project team set goals whether it is LEED or other sustainability criteria. EME then organizes and presents the criteria needed to satisfy the rating system prerequisites and credits and identifies strategies to accomplish these goals. This includes reviewing precedents including USGBC credit ruling interpretations for prerequisites or credits that may need clarity in implementing for a specific project. EME performs design and construction document reviews, calculations, analysis, and computations to determine compliance with prerequisites and identified credits. We use the organizational spreadsheets and LEED and other computation tools to document compliance.
