Our Services Renewable Energy EME Group has been involved with renewable energy sources including combined heat and power (CHP), photovoltaic and wind for nearly three decades. EME has hands-on experience totaling over 500-megawatts on these system types. Services we have performed include providing the following: Examples of these include the following: Wind Energy: The technology training center, Hudson Valley Tec-Smart, visited by President Obama in 2010 exemplifies the integration of renewable energy systems and training for green jobs. EME commissioned two 5.8 kW wind turbines and a 62.5 kW photovoltaic system. Daylight Harvesting: The Omega Center for Sustainable Living, a USGBC LEED Platinum educational facility is a Net-Zero Energy building located in Rhinebeck, NY that was awarded the Living Building Challenge. Combined Heat and Power: EME was instrumental in the Coop City receiving over $1,000,000 in NYSERDA dollars by providing CHP project management for the installation of the 39 MW cogeneration plant, known as River Bay. EME was involved with the economic analysis, commissioning and M&V. |
